Great Places to Visit on Your Personal Development Journey

Today I want to share with you the top personal development sites on the net today. I’ve been a regular at all three over the years, and I want you to get all the benefits I’ve received.

Simply click the website name to visit (it’ll open in a new window). So, here they are in no particular order:

Self Improvement from SelfGrowth.com

They describe themselves as “the most complete guide to information about Self Improvement on the Internet,” and I can’t deny them that! They’re huge. Self Growth was founded by David and Michelle Riklan and collects a lot of personal development info all in one place. If you’re interested in improving your goal setting or reducing your stress, this is the place to find the answers.

Zen Habits

The legendary Leo Babauta runs Zen Habits (I call him legendary primarily for being a young man with six kids!). His blog focuses on personal development through simplicity. He has the art of simplifying life down to a tee. When I need some very centered and creative advice, I zap over some of Leo’s posts.

StevePavlina.com

And last, but certainly not least, the controversial blogger (and now published writer) Steve Pavlina. He’s most well known for the personal growth experiments he conducts on himself usually using the 30 day trial method (do something for 30 days straight, you get the idea). I like Steve’s dedication and willingness to push the limits, even in areas that might not bear much fruit. If you’d like to discover how to give up coffee, become an early-riser, or simply learn the best way to cook brown rice, Steve’s blog is for you.

Now you know where I’ve spent a lot of my time online the last few years, devouring and trying out all these varied techniques and ideas. Take a visit for yourself and leave a comment to let me know what you think of these sites.

More Great Sites

Personal Development Planet is a fantastic new resource from Carl Harvey, who is a ceritified NLP Practitioner (that means he can help you implement deep changes super-fast). In fact, this site is where I’ve been learning the most about Neuro Lingusitic Programming lately, and how I can use these techniques to further accelerate my own personal growth.

Endless Human Potential is a great FREE resource for an almost endless stream of information and tools for the development of human potential, athletic achievement and personal development. The thing I love about this site is that Chris has applied all the things he teaches, so really knows his stuff.

Authentic-Self.com
Become your authentic self through counseling, workshops, courses and classes for self improvement, personal development and self help. Why search for your authentic self? Find answers to questions such as who am I and why is being my true self such a struggle?

This next site I found is really interesting. Axel is an ex-chopper pilot and has ordained as a junior Buddhist Monk. He’s a master at guided meditation. Check out his site and let me know what you think.
