Meditation is one of the very best things you can ever do for yourself. It’s changed my own life in so many ways, it’s difficult to know where I’d be without it.
But the primary benefit is one of destroying the false in your self-concept, and getting you closer and closer to the real Self. All the other benefits (of which there are literally dozens upon dozens) are a delightful bonus. So learning how to meditate should be a pretty high priority for those who don’t already practice.
