A New Website for a New Era of Change

The world is going through a massive transformational shift right now, and it’s my guess that it’s just getting started. I’ll post more on what I see is coming, but for now let me say that it’s going to be a tumultuous time for most people on the planet. I plan to use what I have learned through my own transformation, to help others cope and thrive.

I figured that the big goals I’ve set for myself this year are going to need some new tools if I am going to accomplish them.

Enter this website. Time to ditch the old site, and build a completely new one from the ground up. Like a Phoenix from the ashes…

The old site was built entirely in HTML code. For those less “geek-inclined,” HTML is the raw code that the web is built on and stands for HyperText Markup Language. I’m not a coder by any stretch, but I did learn HTML and built the old site, page by page, “by hand.”

So for each and every article I’d write, I had to then spend time coding it into the HTML document that your web browser can understand. This soon became too slow a process and with my business growing, and the arrival of our baby, I just ran out of time and stopped updating the site. I eventually published my articles on other sites, or left them to gather digital dust on a hard drive.

To my surprise, the amount of visitors to the site kept growing month by month, and the site became a great little resource for personal growth tips.

Out With The Old

The site has a new design – simple, clean and nothing much to clutter up the place. I’ve changed the navigation so it doesn’t get in the way of reading the articles and made it a bit more functional.

I’ve switched from Site Build It! (a great web builder and internet business course for beginners) to my own server running on WordPress (the top blogging and content management platform for this type of site). I also have the Thesis Theme for enhancing WordPress, and a custom visual design.

With that in place, I can now write an article, and post it seconds later. A huge timesaver! I can also post video for you, conduct webinars, and host my private clients in a protected area of the site for paid-content and coaching.

The Power of Now

A few months ago our daughter turned three, and I began to look at the big picture. With my business doing well, and big changes accelerating in the world, I felt a real pull to get back to my original intention. To help others with their aims, and to help get the results they were after.

I’m Back, Baby!

So, expect more quality articles from me with more consistency. You can keep up with the blog by signing up for email updates here (you also get a free ebook when you sign up).

You can also expect the launch of some products that I’ve been working on for the past four years. These are tools that I’ve used to maximize my own health, wealth, spirit and relationships with others.

As a result, I’m happier, healthier and wealthier than I’ve ever been.

Here’s the bottom line:

You can either use brute force and struggle to get what you want, or you can change some mental and emotional fundamentals within you, and go with the flow to get what you want — as a consequence of who you become.

I definitely prefer the latter option. It’s easier, more fun, more productive, and puts the bliss back into life! Are you with me?

Let’s make something of this year. What are some of your goals? You can share them in the comments below.

P.S. If you find something that is broken or doesn’t work on the site, please let me know. Thanks, I appreciate it!

      Hi Amino,

Thank you for your words of encouragement, I really appreciate it.

What an amazing invention! I’ve been looking over your site and your creation is awesome. Such a simple concept, but surely effective ~ I hate cold feet! When my feet are warm, I’m warm. Excellent.

And to achieve all this in just a year is great work. It doesn’t have to take a long time to go from dream to reality. Thank you for sharing such a great success story.

This is a testament to asking the right questions, being open to the inner voice for the answers, and having the faith and courage to take action on those inspirations. Great work! 🙂
